The JMS Memorial Bike Ride

Staff from architectural practice ADP taking part in two grueling cycling challenges to raise the £15,000 needed for Marudyan’s first community education building in India.  The bike ride is also taking part in memory of former ADP Partner James Middleton-Stewart who was instrumental in setting up the Marudyan UK charity.

The Studio to Studio Challenge

The Route

Setting off in Sherborne, Dorset, the ADP team will be peddling up the country taking in the North Wessex Downs, the Thames Valley, the Cotswolds and the Midlands before traversing the roof of England to go downhill into Newcastle.

Saturday 24 May – Sherborne to Basingstoke
Sunday 25 May – Basingstoke to London
Monday 26 May –London to Oxford
Tuesday 27 May –Oxford to Birmingham
Wednesday 28 May –Birmingham to Manchester
Thursday 29 May –Manchester to Wensleydale 
Friday 30 May – Wensleydale to Newcastle

The Delhi Distance Challenge

1 year // 8,600 km // 2 exercise bikes

Staff from ADP’s Sherborne studio have taken up the challenge of cycling 8,600 km from Sherborne to Delhi on static bikes. The team starting cycling in February and aim to finish the ride within the year.
